If Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, and Pink Floyd could birth a new band it would indeed be named …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead. This band is characterized by their melodic guitar riffs, hard hitting energy, raspy vocals, and their imagery is reminiscent of Indiana Jones: The Temple of Doom. Even their website is portrayed as a suspenseful story book and I would recommend checking it out if you are looking for some entertainment and to be taken to a different world of awesome music and mystical story books this band will defiantly take you there. This Austin based band came together in late 1994 with the core band members of Conrad Keely and Jason Reece. Since then they have created seven albums and Tao Of The Dead sits on throne of eloquently crafted sound experience.
Released on February 8, 2011, Tao Of The Dead is a twelve-track album that is both powerful and mesmerizing. This carefully crafted album displays progressive indie rock sound with a hit of anarchic spice.
